YoungMinds UCLouvain is happy to invite you to the first YoumgMinds seminar. The objective of this seminar is to allow an exchange between physicits from various fields. Four PhD students will present their work at this event:
-Gilles Buldgen :Towards a first principles treatment of warm inflation
-Lilian Vanderveken: Impact of pattern formation and intermittent precipitations on the stability of vegetation in semi-arid regions
-Jean Liénardy: From the real world to the integrable Heisenberg chains or how I started as a physicist to become a mathematician
-Arnaud Dochain: Imaging of electronic wavefunctions
-Martin Delcourt: Preparing the next generation of detectors at the LHC
Those presentations will be followed by a poster and beer session. To participate in the poster session, please send a mail with the title to bryan.debin@uclouvain.be
The event will take place on 6 November in the Cyclotron. More info to come!
