You can download a 233 Mb gzipped file containing the source code of the coupled model LOVECLIM : LOVECLIM1.4.tar.gz (this version has been updated 18-10-2021 with LOCH source code and many bugfix). When you have downloaded the code, you should unpack the package. Then, open the README.md and follow the instructions...

This version requires NetCDF and Udunits libraries in order to run the model (see the README in the package).

The sources available include ECBILT-CLIO-VECODE-LOCH and plugs for AGISM. In order to get the AGISM modules, please contact Philippe Huybrechts (phuybrec@vub.ac.be).

The code has been tested on GNU/Linux (5.11 x86_64) with the intel compiler (Version 2020.4.304).

When you are using LOVECLIM in scientific papers, you should cite the references given for each of the component used (see main page of LOVECLIM). You also have to cite the paper Goosse et al. (2010) that described the model LOVECLIM.

You can download a 36 Mb gzipped file containing the source code of the coupled model LOVECLIM : LOVECLIM1.3.tar.gz (this version has been updated 17-10-2012 compared to the orginal one of 16-10-2012 because of a small bug in the interactive cloud scheme). When you have downloaded the code, you should unpack the package. Then, open the README and follow the instructions...

Version 1.2

You can download a 288 Mb gzipped file containing the source code of the coupled model LOVECLIM : LOVECLIM1.2.tar.gz. When you have downloaded the code, you should unpack the package. Next, you should then go in the directory bin, modify the path emic-dir in comp_run-emic_loveclim (line 108) in order to give the exact name of the directory where LOVECLIM1.2 has been created. You should go then to the directory LOVECLIM1.2/wkdir/ecbilt_clio_my_exp . The script sub.my_exp1 will make a run of ten years if you run it. The ten year outputs should be similar to the one in this file (159Mb).

On your machine, it will be probably necessary to make modifications in the makefile located in (LOVECLIM1.2/ecbilt_clio).

Note that you need the Field, NetCDF, and udunits libraries in order to run the model. If this software is not available on your computer, you should install it first. You can obtain the source code distribution of these libraries via the tools page of the CKO website.
